I’m in the same housing situation that began in June. IYKYK.
I have written maybe twice in the span of 6 months. There is little energy, even now.
Chanukah falls during my mom’s birthday this year (she’s passed almost 5 years now). When the grief days come, they are intense. The last thing I’m thinking about right now is Chanukah. Time is moving too fast for me.
I’ve recently started learning Irish as a way to stay connected with my mom and our ancestry. I don’t have access to Munster Irish currently, so I’m learning Standard Irish. I’m not the greatest at languages, so this is going to be a long process, and I turned off the notifications so then the duolingo owl won’t come after me daily.
There are other reasons why I’m in mourning, but I can’t go into them here at the moment. In one facet, I may need to in the near future.
