A PRAYER FOR A NON-RELIGIOUS AUTISTIC
On February 12th 2024, I wrote an open letter to the poetry community stating that I would be ending my author contract with Mason Jar Press - explicitly due to their lack of structural support, as an independent press, towards Palestinian writers during an ongoing genocide (while ghosting any communications I made regarding Gaza for months, both via email and social media).
In the future (I do not know the timeline yet), I will be self-publishing my third poetry book, “A Prayer For A Non-Religious Autistic” in various formats for FREE.
Poetry is for everyone.

WHAT DOES RAINBOW STORMCAST MEAN?
RAINBOW STORMCAST is a wordplay on the translation of my Hebrew name
Sa’ar Keshet = as per my sponsoring rabbi, “storm that turns into a rainbow.”
I personally prefer and use Rainbow Storm as the translation.
My connection to Mnísota (Minnesota)
I’m a settler originally from the Twin Cities, born in Bde Óta Othúŋwe (Minneapolis) and raised in Imnížaska Othúŋwe (St. Paul); I moved to what we now call Washington state (specifically Suquamish lands) in 2018.
I’m a college dropout; my university education years were from between 2007-2013, and from 2017-2018.
I attempted degrees at MSU Moorhead, at the University of Minnesota, and at Minneapolis Community & Technical College.
